Small Boat Building
At South Shore, we’ve built a number of traditional wooden boats over the years, including a number of Dories and a 19′ Phil Bolger design. For the right vessel, we can help you build it in keeping with those traditions and woodworking skills.

Restore and Refit Accessories as Well
Accessories and other elements can also be part of a refit or restoration. South Shore Boatworks’ woodworking can create transoms, planks, davits and platforms to match your vessel, its appearance, history and scale. Any part of a historic or functional restoration – be it wood or metal – can be created custom for your boat.
Some of our work has included transoms, swim platforms, davits, skyboxes, tillers, helm bezels and compass leveling blocks.
